Poem #6

And yes! I know I'm behind.

I am working on what I hope will be a poem I'm happy with. We'll see how it goes. (Not quickly!)

Meanwhile here is a short, but impassioned verse.

Over 2 million red envelopes received,
A blitz of red, the “White House” admitted when asked.
So I’m disgusted right now.
What's given as news is meant to deceive,
And what really happens, so often is masked.
