Teaching Prepositions
On the floor,
Behind the door,
Take the bear
Everywhere.
Hold the teddy
Way up high.
Now get ready!
Make him fly!
Below the window,
Around the chair,
Over his shadow,
Up in the air.
Smiling faces,
Laughing eyes,
Open spaces,
Wonder races…
Hear no sighs.
When does yearning
For more learning
Become staid
And gravely weighed?
